Ellis Billington is an author of southern and midwestern gothic fiction. His work is largely inspired by growing up near the Illinois-Kentucky border, as well as by his college experience in the suburbs of Chicago. Along with being a regular contributor for IMPACT Magazine, Billington was the 2018 winner of the Ruth Cooley poetry prize, and the 2019 runner-up of the same competition.
